Urban, professional, edgy, sophisticated
It's all Anniversary all the time on this list. We're stocking up on items that offer the most bang for your buck while keeping Fall trends in mind. Very excited. Go!
First up, a new handbag. Anniversary is the perfect time to invest in a new high quality handbag that will be a wardrobe staple throughout the year. As you know, blue is great on you and this MARC by MARC JACOBS bag will easily coordinate with the vast majority of your wardrobe. With a cross body strap or a shorter handle, you can rock it in whatever way works best for the occasion. Great for commuting (hello hands free!) or completing your sophisticated look.
You know how many pieces your Frye Lucinda boots coordinate with. Why not replace those with this Frye handbag of the same whiskey wash? I love the idea of this with your grey leather coat and black boots. It's more casual and smaller for long days on your feet. As it wears, it only gets better.
Shorter boots and booties are all the rage and lucky for you, they are perfect for your body type. I adore these because they can easily replace your Lucindas on days when you'd like to opt for something shorter. Try them with black or navy opaque tights to show off your legs and draw attention to your feet. The heel is elongating and still very comfortable. It's best to try these with the blue bag above rather than matching the whiskey color of the bag and boots. And, yes, you can wear them with dresses. Perhaps your green Eliza J dress?
I'll admit it. I bought both of these pairs of boots for myself. So, I can vouch for their comfort level. I'm a HUGE fan of Kork Ease and the chance to rock a navy boot should not be overlooked. The heel is interesting and unexpected, but you can practically run races in them. Try them with boots, skinny jeans, even dresses or skirts. The options are endless and the price is certainly right. Again, these would be smashing with your grey leather jacket.
Welcome to the land of the duster. It's real and it would look fabulous on you! Either olive green or charcoal grey would be great complements to your wardrobe and you'd undoubtedly get a great deal of use out of this cardigan. It's very light weight and a bit sheer, so it's all sophistication all the time.
Yes, you can. As you know, prints on top aren't ideal for you. The exception? Wearing prints all over. I love the duster length on you and can see you using this over a basic jeans and tee situation or over a basic shift dress. Adding your tall Fryes, your moto boots or any of the ankle boots above are sure to draw attention- ion a good way. I realize it's a juniors sweater- but I think the fit will work and that decreases the price for this experimental move.
And so begins a list of faux leather pants. Urban, edgy, sophisticated. Leather is all these things. And, the colored options draw attention to your lower half. Olive green is a great neutral that will go with virtually anything, but is an exciting alternative to the normal gray/ brown/ black situation. You can SO pull these off. Why not? Perhaps with either of the duster sweaters above....
These are great! So comfortable and they look really expensive in person. They are available in black and that's totally an option for you thanks to the detailing. Although, I'm a fan of this red/brown leather color as it is also a neutral and balances out your frame. Wear them with a tunic and ankle boots. Try the Kork Ease pair or your black moto boots with a cardigan or your All Saints sweater and a tee. Yes!
The highest quality and the highest price point. I wanted to give you options depending on how into this trend you are feeling. One pair should be sufficient:)
A girl can never have enough dresses and you'd look great in this one. I especially appreciate the sleeves- no need for a cardigan or jacket in colder weather. Add your leather jacket and booties to make it a big edgier. Or, opt for more office appropriate heels and a long necklace.
This was so fun! Remember that Anniversary is only for a few more days and items sell out quickly. So make your move. And, don't let the warm weather trick you into believing that fall isn't just a couple of months away. Happy shopping!
