Hello Dear Reader,

I come to you today with just a quick little post about SHOES! As we approach the summer months, school letting out and vacations being planned; we find ourselves in need of the ubiquitous sandal. Like finding an amazing boot for fall and winter a perfect summer sandal is an elusive but worthwhile endeavor. Just like clothing, finding a great fit can be a challenge especially for those of us with narrow or wide width feet. So while I myself was on the search for a great summer sandal, I thought I would share my finds!

Date Night Heel

This adorable and cushioned heel is ideal for summer date or cocktail event. In a neutral useful color and coming in 4 different widths from Narrow to Extra Wide Widths this shoes hits all the marks! These white cork heels are a great budget version with a bit more heel stability due to the on-rend chunky heel. Also a great option for summer parties. 

 

Brunch with the Ladies

With a low heel and coming in a variety of colors this little wedge is perfect for meeting the ladies for a summer Sunday brunch, or touring the newest mall shops. Hey, it's even a subdued but attractive summer work shoe.

 

Running Errands

Now I have been a fan of Birkenstock's for a long time. So when they came into Vogue and started going crazy with colors, I fell even further in love! The metallic options are my favorite currently, and the great thing about Birkenstock's in that they come in narrow, regular and wide widths and have arch support to boot! Some of the newer versions have soft foot-beds, personally for comfort I recommend finding ones with this new foot-bed, helps the break in process go faster I have found. To try them on I recommend heading the Nordstrom where they have a great selection. If you are willing to dig you can find awesome deals at Nordstrom Rack!

 

Hot Sandy Vacation

Comfort and ease for walking tourist attractions, while also being open enough to easily shake sand out, these two are great little additions to a summer wardrobe. Pull them on with a flippy summer dress, or with some great printed shorts and you are good to go!

 

Summer Wedding

For all of the summer weddings you may be attending, let me introduce a metallic as a neutral. These great little block heels will go with just about any outfit, not sink into grass and look good with pants or skirts or dresses. Really they are just an all around winner.

So I hope these give all ya'll with wide and narrow widths a jumping off point. Cute shoes are possible they just need a bit more digging to find at times.
