7 Designer Collaborations You Won't Want to Miss.

Are you sensing a trend? Designers and celebrities have discovered that they can monetize their style by collaborating with brands. This development is especially fun for the rest of us as these bring fresh energy to existing brands. Collabs inspire us to try new labels, revisit some favorites or just put together our existing pieces in new ways. All hail the collab!

Here are a few of my favorites and of course, there are more coming everyday. Keep in mind, many of these are for a limited time as brands and collaborators expiriment. So, if you see something you like, don't wait. 

 

7 Designer Collabs to Check Out Now.

1. Stella McCartney X Adidas. 

Anytime orange and navy are in the mix, I'm hooked. This uber cool collection is just right for the sporty, urban woman. And, because this has been going for a few months, there are deals to be had!

2. Miranka Kerr X MOTHER.

She's a model, she's a wellness guru and now she's a collaborator with one of my favorite denim companies, MOTHER. Expect embroidered denim and other 70's inspired pieces. A portion of the proceeds go to Austrailia's Royal Hospital for Women Foundation. 

3. New Balance X J.Crew.

If you haven't picked up pieces from the New Balance collaboration with J.Crew, your opportunity is quickly disappearing. A small portion of the original collection is available, but it's certainly worth a look. J.Crew's esthetic comes to your fitness routine. 

4. Prabal Gurung X Lane Bryant.

Okay, I ADORED the Christian Siriano and Lane Bryant collab from the holiday season. Now it's time for another fun collection that includes bold colors, prints and all things spring. And, can we just give a shout out for the inclusion of plus size brands? Nice work leading the charge, Lane Bryant. 

5. Paige X Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

MOTHER and Paige?! Two tried and true places to go for denim and on the collab train. Paige just partnered up with it girl Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Don't know who she is? It doesn't really matter. What does matter is that these pieces are just right for sexy staples that work for the office, going out and the weekend. 

6. A.P.C X Outdoor Voices.

This one has been going strong since the fall and it's still worth a look. The collaboration, known as A.P.C.O.V. is described as, "technical apparel for recreation." For those of you who are always asking me for a "uniform" this is it- for your active life. 

7. Kate Spade X Beyond Yoga.

Looking for activewear that communicates your personal style? Well, if you are a big Kate Spade fan, this is your time. Bold colors and utilitarian bows make this collection authentic to Kate Spade and still as functional as your other pieces from Beyond Yoga. 

Now, all you have to do is choose whether to go out or go work out.....
