As a personal stylist for women, an important part of every client’s Closet Edit is determining which of her shoes go, which stay and which just need some extra love. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a client struggling to part with a pair of shoes she adores because she knows they simply aren’t comfortable.
After all, your shoes MUST be functional for your life. Otherwise, they are simply taking up space where stylish and comfortable shoes could go. Of course, I’ve experienced this exact scenario and only now have I finally discovered a product that truly does easily and effectively stretch my shoes.
Stretch Your Shoes with This Super Affordable Product

So your first question is- did someone pay me to endorse this product? The answer is no. I bought it and tried it on my own and I am thrilled that I did. That being said, if you click on the image below to purchase, Poplin may receive an affiliate commission on your purchase at no additional cost to you. Thanks in advance for that. These do add up over time.
How does it work?
According to the instructions, you can spray this inside your leather shoes and put them on a shoe stretcher or just wear them around the house for about an hour over a thick pair of socks. I’m a pretty low maintenance person, so I took the easier route and wore them over my thickest pair of socks and went about my day. An hour later, I took off the socks, put the shoes back on and discovered they were perfect! I expect they stretched out about 1/2 of a shoe size.
I also ordered the shoe stretching kit because I assumed I’d need it. As it turned out, walking around in the shoes with the spray and socks was plenty. But, it’s nice to have this as an alternative, if that speaks to you.
Just in case you are wondering about these glorious platforms that are super comfortable (when they are the correct size), here they are. I picked them up at Lori’s, a favorite shoe store based in Chicago. If you haven’t checked out Lori’s, now is the time. They also happen to be one of a very small number of shops to carry 4CCCCEES, a brand I adore, started by a designer who previously worked at United Nude. They are sold out now, but you can also pick them up directly from the brand at Dolce Vita. Happy shopping! As always, let me know how it goes.
